A Seventh-day Adventist congregation in Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu — welcoming you home for Sabbath.
For twenty-five years, Mount Zion Silver Jubilee SDA Church has served as a spiritual home for families in and around Pudukkottai. As part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist community, we hold the Bible as the foundation of our faith and gather each Sabbath to worship, learn, and grow together. Ours is a church that loves God and loves music, and our praise reflects that joy every Sabbath.
Because we sit alongside the Mount Zion educational institutions, our congregation is blessed with a large and vibrant youth presence, as students from the college and school come worship with us and grow in their faith alongside our church family. This chapel itself was built keeping God first — a place raised in faith, for faith, so every generation who walks through its doors encounters Christ.
To make man whole — proclaiming the everlasting gospel, nurturing disciples of Jesus Christ, and serving our community in love, following the Adventist call to holistic ministry of mind, body, and spirit.
A chapel family in Pudukkottai where every generation encounters Christ, grows in faith, and is equipped to serve.
As a Seventh-day Adventist congregation, our faith and practice are shaped by the Bible and expressed through these core convictions.
Sola Scriptura — the Bible alone is our supreme, sufficient rule of faith, above tradition or human opinion.
The sanctuary and its services reveal the plan of salvation and Christ's ongoing ministry on our behalf.
We rest and worship on the seventh-day Sabbath, God's sign of creation and rest, from Friday to Saturday sunset.
The dead sleep unconscious until the resurrection — our hope rests in God's promise, not innate immortality.
We watch and wait for the soon, literal, personal return of Jesus Christ as our living hope.
